The story
Myth,
made tangible.
Chloris is the Greek goddess of flowers and spring. Here she emerges from a dense garden of paisley, leaf and floral forms—less an illustration than a portal into a world of renewal.
The composition began as pencil sketches before being refined through around fifty digital iterations. Every layer was tested for flow, connection and shadow before the first sheet of wood was cut.
The face is formed in genuine veneer marquetry. Its changing grains sit against vivid hand-finished layers, giving the piece a presence that shifts with daylight and viewpoint.
